The ultimate low carb, high protein snack! Great for kids’ lunch boxes, or any time hunger strikes.
Your carb-counting, celery-munchin’ girlfriends will be sooo happy if you serve these at your next gathering!
I personally consider these to be Weight Watchers Power Foods, so I wouldn’t declare any points when doing Simply Filling Technique. ( A tiny bit of barbecue sauce or hummus won’t kill you—just don’t down it by the spoonful!)
Trader Joe’s Smoked Turkey Breast is only 50 calories for four, fat free slices, and they’re the perfect size and thickness to hold up to your sauce of choice. But any cold cut will do the job!
I LOVE TJ’s new Carolina Gold Barbecue Sauce, with a slightly sweet and spicy, mustardy tang! A little goes a long way.
Spread it on your turkey and roll around a slice of pickle and roasted red pepper for a beautiful, healthy appetizer/snack/lunch… the possibilities are endless!
For something a little heartier, use your favorite hummus. I’m partial to Trader Joe’s Eggplant Hummus, because it’s lower in fat and calories than regular hummus, without losing flavor or texture.
Try a slice of avocado and Persian cucumber, with Trader Joe’s Cilantro Salad Dressing to change things up a little!
